Welcome to the first Progress Update of 2026, NATIXIANs. Last year, we made amazing progress with multi-camera data collection, forged great partnerships, and made some crazy announcements. This year is going to get even better.
January was already successful as we shared one of our biggest news stories yet, but it’s only the start of the year, and we have a lot more to announce. Let’s jump right into our progress this month.

NATIX is the world’s largest decentralized multi-camera data collection network, and as such, with over 127K hours of multi-camera data, it offers the biggest 360° datasets for Physical AI.
Our community growth continues at a steady pace with over 269K drivers contributing to the network. With over 242M KMs covered, our worldwide coverage remains a key point in the demand for the data.

This month, we’ve made a tremendous announcement when we partnered with Valeo, one of the world’s leading automotive technology companies and a pioneer in autonomous systems. Together, we are building one of the largest open-source, multi-camera World Foundation Models (WFM): sophisticated generative AI systems capable of simulating highly realistic virtual environments and scenarios.
If an LLM predicts the next word in a sentence, a WFM predicts the next moment in reality. WFMs are rapidly becoming the cornerstone of autonomous driving and broader robotics, and this partnership unites Valeo’s expertise in world modeling with NATIX’s ability to capture diverse, multi-camera real-world data at scale. Together, we are creating one of the largest open, multi-camera WFM — shaping the blueprint for the next era of AI: open, responsible, and grounded in the real world.
This major announcement was also highlighted by some of the biggest publications, and we invite you to read all about Valeo and NATIX WFM Partnership.

World Foundation Models are set to be the next major advancement in Physical AI, fundamentally transforming how autonomous vehicles and robots are trained, validated, and deployed. This shift opens an interesting angle for NATIX.
World models need real multi-camera data, not just synthetic variants of front-facing clips. The NATIX multi-camera dataset, with complete 360° driving coverage across continents, weather, traffic cultures, and jurisdictions, gives world models the grounding they need to learn physical reality accurately. As the field moves toward surround-view world modeling, NATIX becomes a natural foundation layer for training and validating these systems, becoming one of the most prominent use cases for NATIX data, as is the case of our collaboration with Valeo. Read about World Foundational Models and how NATIX Data can be utilized.

In the last two years, the world model space has accelerated faster than any other part of the Physical AI development. Research groups, automotive suppliers, simulation platforms, and end-to-end autonomy companies have begun building these models in public. World models are the first technology that lets autonomy scale without putting millions of cars on the road.
That is why investors are paying close attention. From Wayve and NVIDIA to Valeo and Tesla, every leading team is converging toward the same principle. Luckily, we made sure to give you a quick overview of some of the companies contributing to world model research, and what that means for NATIX. Read full NATIX review of world Foundational Models.

The last burn of 2025 combined both November and December burns together. This resulted in a massive burn with over 79.5M $NATIX tokens taken out of circulation, bringing us to a total of 595.5M tokens burned since $NATIX’s launch way back in July 2024, all the way until the end of 2025.
This year, we’re changing the burning process to happen once every quarter, which would result in bigger burns through a more streamlined process, allowing us to put more focus on the demand side for NATIX data. With that, you can expect the first token burn of 2026 to occur in April.
CEO Alireza was featured on the Proof of Coverage Podcast this month to discuss our partnership announcement with Valeo. Alireza shared information on why a $3B Fortune 500 company wants Natix data, what a World Foundational Model is, why autonomous driving needs synthetic data, and more.
After announcing our partnership with Valeo to build one of the largest open-source WFM, we took the time to connect with our community, share some updates, review our goals for the year, and answer your questions. This was a very informative and captivating broadcast that you definitely wouldn’t want to miss.
Physical AI is going to dominate the narrative this year as all the biggest companies are shifting towards the next generation of autonomy, and NATIX is perfectly positioned to play a key role in its development. Our collaboration with Valeo will bear fruit in a few months, but until then, we have a lot more in the pipeline that we are excited to share in the coming months.
As always, make sure to follow our Twitter @NATIXNetwork to stay up-to-date with our announcements and releases.
