We’re excited to introduce Navigation V2 to the Drive& app, built in partnership with Magic Lane, a company with a legacy of delivering privacy-first, advanced navigation solutions. With this update to the navigation system, we’re taking another major step toward making Drive& the ultimate all-in-one driving companion.
From enhanced search and routing to full landscape mode support, this update significantly improves the user experience, making navigation smoother, smarter, and more reliable. With this update to the navigation system, we are challenging the leading centralized mapping solutions, such as Waze and Google Maps, using the power of DePIN.

Magic Lane has been at the forefront of navigation technology since 1992, with over 30 years of experience in the Maps, Location & Navigation industry. The team behind Magic Lane (formerly known as Route 66) developed one of the first navigation solutions for platforms like Mac, PC, and early mobile phones, such as the Nokia 6110 Navigator, which became the first mobile phone with onboard navigation installed. Evolving with the industry to meet the needs of modern mobility, their privacy-centric, adaptable, and lightweight mapping solutions align perfectly with NATIX’s vision for decentralized and user-driven navigation.
This partnership is more than just an integration—it’s a long-term collaboration. As we roll out Navigation V2, we’ll also be working with Magic Lane to share relevant mapping data, continuously improving map layers for greater accuracy and efficiency. The more users contribute, the smarter the system becomes — fulfilling our vision of the flywheel effect, where users become direct benefactors of the Network data.

Around a year ago, when we launched Navigation V1 on Drive&, we mentioned that it was only the beginning of a new era of navigation, and we’ve been monitoring your experience and feedback. With Navigation V2, we focused on the areas that matter most to you, bringing key improvements based on real user feedback:
This Drive& update will include a couple more changes. That includes visibility on the activation and end time for your NITRO, a new and upgraded login screen, Marketplace-related improvements, and more.
We’re constantly looking for ways to improve and upgrade your driving experience using Drive& so we can fulfill the promise of leveraging DePIN to create next-gen advanced driving assistant systems.
With Navigation V2, and the changes coming up ahead, we’re putting Drive& on the map – in real-time. We want to make Drive& an indispensable tool for drivers who want smarter, more decentralized driver-assistant features, powered by real-world data and continuous user-driven improvements.
We’re just getting started. Expect further enhancements, improvements, and even more innovative features in future updates. Try out Navigation V2 today and let us know what you think!
